I visited the museum; I have family who came through there. A strange feeling walking around knowing that. Definitely worth a visit if you're a history buff, even if you're not connected through relatives..

Another history Substack that I follow mentioned a devastating fire early on because of the hurriedly built wooden structures. They were able to rebuild with stronger material within 3 years, I think.
