Out in western Kansas. In between Ulysses and Wichita. You can still see an old pioneer trail. The PEXPRESS followed it. Rough, deserted country even now.
In the 1970’s I lived for awhile in the former Pony Express station on Barham Blvd in Cahuenga Pass, in Hollywood. It used to be called Dark Canyon Road. Over the hill, you could see the backside of Universal Studios where they filmed cowboy movies. Those days are gone forever!
